Pagoda: a tough omni with circular polarization

The Pagoda is a 5.8 GHz omnidirectional antenna with circular polarization, built from boards stacked one above another. It takes crashes well, has around 3 dBi of gain and a wide pattern, so it works both on the drone and on the goggles. Pagoda Long and Super Long often appear in drone tender specifications.

Versions

  • Stub: short, for small frames.
  • Standard, Long 160 mm and Super Long: the longer it is, the higher it sits above the frame, away from props and carbon.
  • Low Band 5.2 and 5.5 GHz: for systems working below the standard 5.8 GHz band.
  • Sets: Full Diversity 3.5 and 5, a DJI goggles set, 10-packs and the Pagoda DIY kit.

As standard we tune Pagodas to 5800 MHz, and to order up to 5890 MHz. We guarantee VSWR below 1.3, and antennas in one order are tuned to match each other. The full range for the band is in 5.8 GHz Antennas.

FAQ

Pagoda Long or Super Long?

It's the same 3 dBi Pagoda in two lengths. The differences are covered in Pagoda Long 160 vs Super Long.

Pagoda or cloverleaf?

The Pagoda handles crashes better. The cloverleaf is lighter and covers a wider band, so it copes better with channel changes.
