Where our antennas are made

Every Prodrone.pl antenna is made at our facility in Zabrze, Poland. We have been trading since 2010, and production has been in-house throughout.

What happens here

An antenna is not a kit to be screwed together. Every unit goes through the full cycle with us:

• mechanical assembly and connector soldering
• tuning of each individual unit
• vector network analyser measurement of every unit, not a sample from the batch
• labelling with the frequency and the measured figure

Fitting the connector is itself the final tuning step. That is why we do not hold finished antennas on the shelf — they are built to order, with the connector and the frequency the customer specifies.

Origin of the goods

Our antennas are of Polish origin within the meaning of Article 60(2) of Regulation (EU) No 952/2013, the Union Customs Code. That provision determines origin by the place of the last substantial, economically justified processing. In our case that place is Zabrze.

We buy parts, cable and connectors, from inside and outside the EU as is normal in this industry. The finished product is made in Poland, and it is the finished product that the declaration covers.

Documents we issue

Declaration of origin — issued on request for any order, free of charge, signed and stamped. We send a scan by e-mail and enclose the original with the shipment.

Long-term supplier's declaration — for regular customers, covering all deliveries over a period of up to two years. Issued once, so there is no need to ask with every order.

Chamber-issued certificate of origin — an official document issued by the Polish Chamber of Commerce. It is generally not required for trade within the EU, but if a tender or a customs procedure calls for one, we will go through the process. It carries a fee and a longer lead time.

Institutional orders

Institutional and defence-sector buyers increasingly ask not only about the origin of the product, but about the whole supply chain. That is a separate and considerably stricter requirement. We are able to fulfil an order using EU-sourced components only, with documented origin for each part — a matter of cost and lead time, agreed before the order is accepted.
