The Omni_protector_UVB is a next-generation wideband omnidirectional antenna engineered for professional FPV, UAV, industrial and high-frequency communication systems. Built on our re-designed semi-protected cloverleaf structure, it combines exceptional RF performance, outstanding mechanical durability, and aerodynamic efficiency—without the limitations commonly found in fully enclosed antennas.

The antenna maintains a VSWR below 1.5 across an exceptionally broad frequency range, ensuring stable performance for both standard 5.8 GHz systems and specialized high-frequency digital or telemetry applications.
Wide, predictable bandwidth means reliable links even in demanding RF environments.


Clean Omnidirectional Pattern with Enhanced Gain

The Omni_protector_UVB delivers a balanced, well-defined omnidirectional radiation pattern with refined gain characteristics—perfect for aircraft that change orientation frequently.


Optimized Axial Ratio – Superior Circular Polarization

A high-quality axial ratio is crucial for FPV and UAV operations, and this antenna was designed with that in mind.

A low axial ratio provides:

✓ Strong suppression of multipath interference
✓ Cleaner, more consistent video feed
✓ Improved signal stability during aggressive maneuvers
✓ Better penetration and reduced breakup in reflective environments

Re-Engineered Cloverleaf Design – Protected, Not Over-Enclosed

This antenna is based on our custom-tuned cloverleaf geometry, integrated into a semi-enclosed housing that offers the perfect blend of strength, RF transparency and aerodynamic performance.

Advanced GF-Reinforced Housing

The enclosure is made from glass-fiber-reinforced polymer (GF), chosen specifically for antennas due to its unique advantages:

Greatly improved impact and crush resistance
High dimensional stability even at elevated temperatures
Electrically neutral material – it does not interfere with RF radiation, maintaining perfect antenna characteristics

This material allows the antenna to remain rugged while delivering uncompromised RF performance.

Why Semi-Protected Instead of Fully Enclosed?

Our hybrid housing design offers several important benefits:

Reduced aerodynamic drag – ideal for multirotors and high-speed wings
Higher power handling – fully sealed antennas trap heat; our design dissipates it efficiently
Lower weight – improving flight time and center-of-gravity balance
High durability – far superior to open cloverleaf designs, ideal for repeated crashes or industrial use


Temperature Resistance

Engineered for demanding environments, the antenna maintains stable performance from –30°C to +90°C, making it suitable for winter flying, hot summer operations, and industrial-grade applications.
