PRO Helical antenna 5 turn LOW BAND VERSION 5,2GHZ (NOT 5.8ghz)

IMPORTANT: This is a special version of the Helical antenna, specifically tuned for the 5000-5400 MHz frequency range. Because it’s designed for this lower band, it will have much weaker performance if you try to use it in the 5.8 GHz range, so we don’t recommend it for that purpose. This is a custom-made version, built and tuned for a specific order, which means it is non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

The Helical antenna has a gain of about 10 dBi. The Prodrone PRO 5 Turn Helical antenna has a wide beam that spreads 50 degrees at its peak performance. When you’re flying at shorter distances, the beam width can expand up to 120 degrees, giving you a lot of coverage.

All antennas in the PRO Helical series come with a semi-rigid cable. We use high-quality RG402 cables – we don’t cut corners with cheap materials.

The semi-rigid cable means you can bend it into any shape you need, and it will stay that way. This is super handy if you’re using the antenna on your goggles because you can point it in any direction without needing extra adapters.

The cables we use have very low signal loss, so you’ll be able to maintain a strong connection even at longer distances.

We make sure our antennas go through several checks during production. Each antenna comes with a label showing the frequency range where it performs best.

If you buy more than one antenna, we make sure all of them are tuned to the same frequency range. We don’t sell random quality products.
