Xtreeme Cross-air V3

Every Cross-air V3 leaves our bench with its own measured signature — not a datasheet number copied from a model spec. We sweep each antenna individually on a VNA before it is packed, and the label on your unit shows the exact span it was measured across and the VSWR ceiling it held there.

The V3 is a directional, circularly polarized antenna with 10 dBi of gain and a beamwidth reaching 120 degrees — wide enough for proximity and racing, tight enough for long range. The high axial ratio is what keeps the picture up when the line of sight goes behind trees, bushes or a wall of pilots. Across almost the whole Raceband the VSWR stays under 1.3, and in practice most units come out well below that; crosshairs that don't reach 1.2 never get sold at all.

The semi-rigid cable holds any angle you bend it to and stays there. It is short — around 40 mm — so it sits close to the goggles instead of levering off them.

Built one at a time

The connector is soldered, not crimped, and fitting it is the final tuning step rather than an afterthought — which is precisely why the numbers on your label are what they are. Orders with several 5.8 GHz antennas are tuned to match each other, so a diversity setup works with matched pairs rather than two antennas that merely happen to share a band. If you need a whole batch resonating at one identical point, contact us and we'll quote it.

Standard tuning is 5800 MHz centre, effective 5650–5930 MHz. Need something else? We tune to your chosen frequency across 5640–5940 MHz as a paid option, and returning customers get one free retune per order — just quote the range printed on your existing antenna's label and we'll match the new one to it.
