This is the improved version of the Mox_R antenna, now called the MOX_Rv2. It has a more durable design than its predecessor, which had a printed frame, and better parameters. The MOX_Rv2 gain is about 5.5 dBi, and it is available for 868, 900 or 915 MHz, the frequencies commonly used by Crossfire, FrSky, ExpressLRS, LoRa and LoRaWAN transmitters.

The MOX_Rv2 is a two-element parasitic array, which can be pictured as a 2-element Yagi with the element tips bent toward each other. It is a big upgrade over the typical rubber duck antennas supplied with transmitters, as it can extend the range significantly. The Moxon antenna has high gain, very good characteristics and is "almost" omnidirectional, with a null only at the back of the antenna.

The MOX_Rv2 offers three advantages: it is physically small, which makes it an excellent field antenna; it has an outstanding front-to-back ratio of about 30 dB; and it is a 50-ohm antenna, giving a near-perfect 1:1 SWR without any additional matching devices. In addition, the Moxon antenna is fairly broadband, so it covers the whole band effectively, and it has an extremely wide beamwidth of over 250 degrees when mounted vertically.

The MOX_Rv2 is a very durable, high-quality antenna, and each unit is tuned to the requested frequency before shipping. It is compatible with any system that works in the 868, 900 or 915 MHz bands, such as FrSky, TBS, Radiomaster, iFlight, LoRaWAN routers, ExpressLRS, BetaFPV and Orqa, that has an antenna connector or can be modified for an external antenna.
